I would agree that tumors that are not angiographically hypervascular can still present bleeding problems at surgery.
However, your pictures make this one look well encapsulated, and one could assume that extracting it whole would involve ligation of readily identifiable branches that feed it.
Your embo was not superselective or otherwise specific to the tumor, and I still maintain that it was unlilkely to have affected outcome.
Was there embolic material or fresh necrosis on any of the path slides?
