Great case. There is no question this entity is underdiagnosed and undertreated. Unlike varicocele, where we compete directly with Urology for referrals, we should theoretically not be competing with anyone over this. Perhaps with an increased awareness of "GYN interventions" we will get more referrals. Certainly anyone lecturing on the topic of UFE should talk about this as well. As to Moni's case, I agree that the veno should definitely be done. Stay tuned for several good abstracts on this at the March 2000 SCVIR meeting!!!
