I experienced this partial deployment, which we have since called "the onion" on my second experience with the SNF. I tried the Valsalva which did nothing. A follow up film the next day, also showed a persistant "onion" shape. There is apparently no data on the clot trapping efficiency in this configuration. At least my Bard representative does not know of any. Therefore , I do not plan on routinely using this filter.
