I also concur wirh Dr. Oleaga. A two-stage deployment allows more control. I find, when delivering the SNF from the femoral approach, that the "hat" prolapses down by itself instantaneously. We don't use a cold saline flush, which may be why we've never seen this squirelly behavior.
The SNF is my filter of choice because the delivery device is the smallest diameter on the market, and the filter has never misbehaved on me.
Oh, well. Now I have something new to worry about.
