I concur. There's no particular evidence that this filter's efficacy is affected by its shape at deployment. Manipulating it, in my view, has a serious downside (migration) with little measurable upside at present (clearly demonstrable improvement in filter function).
More importantly, filter fixation is ensured in any event, as the hooks will fix into the cava independent of the shape of the "flower top." Best to leave it be (if Valsalva doesn't work).
