I am under the impression that perhaps there
is a small pseudo aneurysm already but I am not
sure. my picture is fuzzy. When pts. are bleeding
and you do what you did the injured vessel could
look just like that. I would have embolized this
pt. at that point. Always remember Dr. Crummy's
paper many moons ago. If the pt, is jaundiced
and we embolized ther is an increased incident
of abscess formation. Regarding cath i have had
this problem before and after embolization have
replace cath in same tract without further problem.
