if you decide to do anything with this unfortunate man I would consider a non alcohol and non vascular approach because it is tricky and potentially dangerous because of the adrenal tissue and would get the opinion of John Doppman at NIH ( a member); he is an authority on this gland. I believe an RF 6 fr probe with the LeVeen modification would be useful thru the gastric approach to infarct and debulk this lesion similar to liver mets- best in the 5cm and under range, however. The units are appoved and on the market the past 3 months or so.
