I have found the Cordis Opta-5 balloon extremely reliable.
It also seems to have superior trackability and I have begun
using the same Opta-5 balloon for both pre-stent PTA as well
as stent deployment. I feel that it is fairly well established
that true ostial lesions of the renal artery are best treated
with a stent, ideally with one mm overlap into the aorta.
