Bob,
We wiped and wiped that darn balloon down, to make it slip-proof. Didn't help.
I hadn't used an Olbert balloon for a long time, but did so after reading your recent comments. Worked great--mounted the trailing end of the stent at the trailing balloon marker dot. Balloon has wonderful surface "friction."
Question: do you always use 8 Fr sheaths for Palmaz stents on Olbert balloons (in contrast to the 7Fr I.D. that Cordis Opti5, or PEMT balloons fit through)?
Someone recently 'claimed' that an Olbert plus stent fit through a 6Fr sheath--I can't even get it through 7 Fr.
