Isn't advocacy of this approach a bit risky? I think that in this
case the collateral filling beyond the embolus gave Dr. Stein confindence
that the case could be done, but I've also seen some ill-advised
attempts to lyse SMA embolus / thrombus with disastrous consequences.
Why was this particular patient considered a suitable candidate?
