Yes - we have concerns about the diamond and use it inly after crossing lesion
with a sheath or guide catheter

Ostial lesions almost always stented now - cannot remember when we
did not stent one.

We wrote up the technique for removing Palmaz stents in 1995 (Hartnell GG, Jordan SJ. Percutaneous removal of the misplaced Palmaz
stent. Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology 1995
6:799-801). In this case we would have pulled harder. In two of our cases one
of the ends of the tines had folded over - pulling hard folded it 180 degrees and it came out
through the sheath in one piece and we carried on and finished with a new\
Stent
