The entity of pelvic congestion, which is so obvious to us and to patients that experience it, eludes gynecologists. Some of them think it is a myth. The way around it is to communicate to the family docs and convince them and to publish credible data on this entity in the gyne literature.
What I take from this case is that with any clinical suspicion of pelvic congestion, one needs to perform venography. Other modalities may stir you away from this diagnosis.
