Congratulations on a gorgeous case. Close the backdoor, preserve the parent vessel, and occlude the huge aneurysm.
Etiology? Trauma, infection or degenerative.
Although I'm not sure I could have done as nice of a job, I would attempt to treat as you did.
I agree with doppler for follow-up of both aneurysm and potential for neointimal proliferation within stent.
