A strong argument for this approach in your patient was the presence of recent bowel injuries, which would have made surgical synthetic graft material application very worrisome for infection and anastamotic breakdown.
Did you give abx prophylactically? (any endovascular repair kit is exposed to the extra-aortic contaminants a little bit in this case). Is this part of the occlusive disease trial?
