I recently saw a similar aged patient with hypertension and hypokalemia. She hat a CT that showed an enlarged left adrenal.
Because the right kidney was ptotic, I suggested she have an angiogram to be sure she didn't have FMD which I considered alot more common than a Conn tumor. The left adrenal stained abnormally on the angiogram but she also had FMD.
She underwent a laparoscopic adrenalectomy and her hypertension as well as hypokalemia went away.
