I agree with the choice to try and oversize the graft with a larger balloon once you saw a persistant leak, and obviously it worked well. I have no experience with the Wallgraft, however, I have moderate experience making my own stent grafts on Wallstents. Is there enough recoil from the covering to eventually constrain the stent back to 12mm? When one places Impra or gore on a Wallstent and dilates to a given size it will stay there for minutes to hours, but gradually shrink back down. The Wallstent does not have enough radial force to withstand the larger constraining force of the graft. Did you consider sealing the top end with a Palmaz stent?
