Great case!
I had a similar case of a brachial artery pseudoaneurysm created during PICC placement. Ultrasound compression would be extremely hard due to the mobility of the artery in this location. We managed it percutaneously by inflating a 6 mm angioplasty balloon across the neck. We left the balloon up for 1 minute. The pseudoaneurysm was gone! Did I injure the endothelium? Probably, but putting a clamp to obtain proximal and distal control would at least as bad.
