Nice case! If my calculation is correct you used
~14units of retavase but I wasn't clear as to whether or not you used low dose heparin through the sheath. In answer to your third question I would cast a vote in favor of NOT stenting the iliac vein in this patient.......I have used retavase in one pt.: 21 yo female with primary axillosubclavian DVT with complete lysis (10u retavase @ 1u/hr via multisidehole infusion catheter, heparin @ 500u/hr via sheath). Will retavase have a better safety profile than TPA in the periphery with the .5u/hr arterial dose and the 1.0u/hr venous dose?
