This five-day didactic course, designed with lectures, panel discussions, teaching files, case scenarios and hands-on interaction with flow models, is for physicians with ACGME training and experience in the fundamentals of neuroimaging, catheter-directed cerebral angiography and peripheral or neuro subselective endovascular catheter-directed therapy who seek to incorporate acute ischemic stroke care into their practice and/or upgrade their knowledge and skill base. This course will be useful for even the most well trained specialists including IR or INR fellows.
SIR designates this educational activity for a maximum of 27.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The Society of Interventional Radiology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Each program will indicate the number of category 1 credits that can be earned for completion of that program.
